How true is the claim made on Twitter that Wilson Sossion has been appointed as the new Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Executive boss?

The tweet reads, “Wilson Sossion appointed as the new TSC Boss. He is taking over from Dr Nancy Macharia. Well well”.
Sossion served as the Secretary General of Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) from 2013 to 2021, before being nominated as a Member of Parliament (MP), representing workers interest in Kenya's National Assembly.
The former KNUT official has, however, dismissed claims of his appointment as the TSC boss, calling on Kenyans to disregard the rumours.
The position in question is currently being held by Nancy Macharia, who has been the TSC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since 25 June 2015. She started her second term as the TSC boss after being reinstated in 2020, which will end in 2025.
TSC has not made any official communication on the appointment of a new CEO.
Velma Writes has looked into the claim that Wilson Sossion has been appointed as the new TSC boss and finds it to be false.
