How true is this post on Facebook with a poster attributed to the Kenya Red Cross appealing to Kenyans to donate towards those affected by drought?

The post is appealing to well wishers to donate food items, other materials or cash donations through the account details provided.
The poster, however, contains incorrect information on the number of Counties that are affected by drought. It states the number is 14 instead of 23 as stated officially by the Red Cross on their verified Twitter account.

The humanitarian organization issued a warning against fake Kenya Red Cross paybill numbers and shared the real Mpesa details, which are different from those shared on the poster in the claim.

Velma Writes has looked into a donation appeal attributed to the Kenya Red Cross Society and finds it to be fake.
