Did The Star Kenya publish a digital card quoting Kapsoit Member of County Assembly (MCA) Paul Chirchir as seen in this Facebook post?

The quote reads, “My companies were awarded contracts through a competitive procurement process. It is sad to note that Gov Mutai has blacklisted my 3 companies and refused to pay me Ksh 201 M."
The digital card in question was flagged as fake by The Star Kenya on 17 November 2022.
The post reads, “Beware of FAKE news. If it's not on our official pages, it's fake! Visit http://the-star.co.ke for authentic news.”

Velma Writes has looked into a Facebook post with a digital card attributed to The Star quoting Kapsoit Member of County Assembly (MCA) Paul Chirchir and finds it to be FAKE.
