How true is this Facebook post claiming that Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Kithure Kindiki said that Kenyan Police would start wearing pocketless uniforms?

On 3 November 2022, Kenya’s Ministry of Interior flagged a similar claim as fake via its official Twitter account.
The post reads, " The government through @InteriorKE and @NPSC_KE will continue to prioritize reforms that dignify the Police and complement their capacities for an effective discharge of their duties.”

In a Facebook post dated 3 November 2022, Kindiki also asked Kenyans to ignore any fake news about the police.
"A vast Majority of our Police officers are diligent and professional. The government, through the Ministry of Interior and the National Police Service Commission will continue to empower and equip our officers to combat crime and ensure all Kenyans and their properties are safe and secure. Ignore any fake news, tailored to potray our Police officers negatively," reads the post.
